We're Sorry: Product Recall 😢

OK, bad news. Many customers are reporting a major defect. The film on the panels is so thin and fragile that it's splitting apart. We re-shored production to the USA, and this was the first time we used this particular supplier. They should have used a more robust film, as we requested. A new supplier is being secured.
 
Meanwhile, I am announcing a full product recall.

  • If you received your order
    Please stop using EXPANDY in your shower. Take it down and use a normal shower liner. You do not need to return my defective item. Just keep any liner, curtain or clips. Those are good. We'll send you a free replacement (complete set).

  • If you have not received your order
    Please hold until my product is back in stock with a version that meets my quality standards.
How long will it take? I wish I knew. It could be a month away, it could be three or more. But if you are receiving this email, it means you qualify for the replacement and you do not need to do anything else for the time being. We have successfully made this product before -- to rave reviews -- and I am confident the flaw was correctly identified and can be addressed.
 
If you cannot wait, I certainly understand. You've been more than patient though many previous delays ... mechanical failures, winter storms, etc. So to get a 100% refund, just reply "REFUND" and I will honor your request immediately. But waiting means you keep your priority in the queue when we are back in stock.
